Camp Counsellor

Qualifications & Experience:
Age 17+ Experience working children, preferably in a camp setting Trustworthy, Enthusiastic, Reliable,Ability to take direction and give direction, Problem Solver Excellent Communication Skills - with parents, staff, and children,Works well independently as well as part of a team Creative; enjoys crafting, leading songs and games and dressing up, Enjoys being outdoors and being active First Aid / CPR-C & Clean vulnerable sector police record check Responsibilities and Expectations of the Counsellor include Ensure the safety and wellbeing of campers Act as a positive role model Under the supervision of the Director, implement an enriching program involving crafts, baking, sports, games, songs, and more Plan and Supervise Before & After Camp Activities Take Attendance, and ensure that campers are picked up by their approved adult each afternoon Work cooperatively as part of the Camp Team; attend meetings Set up and clean up of supplies and activities as well as setup and take down inflatable activities . Assist Campers with with water refills, lunch, sunscreen Ensure that all safety rules and policies of Kustermans Adventure Farm are followed Perform other related duties as assigned.
