I'm a 37 year old male, with cerebral palsy, in need of a support worker for Saturday's and Sunday's in the morning (10am-12pm preferably but open to being flexible). I am very friendly and can engage in very interesting conversations.

Routine includes:

  • getting out of bed (going from lying to sit, then stand on a turning disc to get on to shower chair)
  • showering (need full help for washing body, shampoo hair, brush teeth, shaving)
  • getting dressed (need full help)
  • physical exercises (standing frame + stretching hands and fingers)
  • Cleaning up the bathroom

I'm in need for 2 hours per day, so this would be a great opportunity to get experience.
I used to go to Carleton University where I had students taking care of me so i am open to work with any gender.

  • Experience with community supports is an asset

  • Willing to receive additional training as needed
