Description: 

Provide ongoing supports to a wide variety of individuals who are supported by Community Living Tillsonburg.  This will include  supports within their own homes, community involvement opportunities and recreational/leisure activities.

This may involve personal attendant care, following through on person centred plans, creative problem solving, fostering independence, administering medications; provide knowledge and training in areas such as life skills, organizational skills, social skills and safety awareness.

Supports are provided 24 hours a day/7days a week including all public holidays.  The successful candidate must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends, public holidays and nights.

Requirements: 

Diploma in a Human Services field including Developmental Service Worker; Child & Youth Worker; Social Service Worker; Community Service Worker etc.

Experience working with people with an intellectual disability is an asset.

Current Standard First Aid/CPR certification.

Valid Driver's License and use of own vehicle.
