Canada Connects Mentor
Report to: The Canada Connects mentor will be a volunteer of Northwest London Resource Centre (NWLRC).
Commitment: 1 hour per week to a minimum two hours a month
• Independent program preparation according Canada Connects program expectations (mentoring about life in Canada)
•Be actively involved with the program to ensure maximum benefit
This is a volunteer position.
People to apply to this position need to live In London Ontario and have been living
in Canada at least 5 years
Desired Qualifications and Characteristics
• Adults 18+
•Canadian citizens or long-time community members (minimum of 5 years)
•Be resident of London, Ontario
•Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
•Commit to being a volunteer for a minimum of six months
•Be self-motivated with a positive attitude
•Display a willingness to learn about different cultures
•If you have experience in these industries it will considered as an asset.
