Springer Aerospace is looking for independent and motivated individuals to jour our team as a Full Time Permanent Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Apprentice who are interested in gaining the skills and experience necessary to meet the requirements to become full with AME-M and AME-S Certificate Holders thru Transport Canada. 

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Apprentice, responsibilities include:

  • Perform all work assigned in accordance with the instruction and procedures;
  • Report any defect that is noted in the course of performing maintenance;
  • Care and custody of tooling and publications associated with the maintenance function;
  • Carry out daily tasks/duties as assigned by AMLs, ICLs and AME’s, this includes working furnishings, mechanical, avionics and structures as needed;
  • Complete required documentation in accordance with Springer Aerospace’s Maintenance Policy Manual.
  • Maintain professional work habits and communicate with employees and customers in a professional manner.
  • Complete any special projects or other tasks as required or assigned. May be assigned to other areas of operations, based on business needs or customer requirements.
  • Work in compliance with all Administrative, Health and Safety policies and procedures as per legislative requirements and as outlined in Company policies.
Requirements: 
  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational institution.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as, climb, kneel and crawl frequently in tight spaces;
