Description: 
  • Looking for a skilled automotive painter to join our team focusing on truck body pre-paint prep and painting
Requirements: 
  • Pre-paint prep; sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking and taping
  • Use a variety of hand and pneumatic tools for preparation of truck bodies for paint
  • Mix paint while ensuring proper identification and colour codes to meet customer specifications
  • Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required
  • Apply primers, acrylic enamel, polyurethane, base coat, clear coat and other types of paint using paint spray guns
  • Paint automotive quality paints and produce and automotive quality finish
  • Ensure that painted surfaces meet quality standards, customer standards, and paint manufacture requirements in order to meet all warrant standards
  • Promote a positive work environment through cooperation and good work relations with all staff and clientele
