East Elgin Soccer is seeking an individual to assist the club’s Board of Directors with organizing and delivering the EEYS summer house league program.
Qualified Individuals Will:
- be self-motivated and able to work independently,
- have strong organizational skills,
- be responsible, professional and highly dependable
- possess good judgement and decision-making skills,
- have effective communication skills,
- be computer literate and adept with social media,
- have strong interpersonal skills,
- be physically fit and able to undertake somewhat strenuous, outdoor physical work, and
- possess a strong knowledge, understanding and love for the game of soccer.
A significant part of the duties are as the on-site Field Convenor who must be present at the field from 5 pm (or earlier) until at least 9 pm on all nights with scheduled games (Mon-Thurs) as well as field maintenance as required during the day.
The term of employment will be for approximately 16 weeks from early May to late August, 2023 and the position is seen as an ideal summer job for a local college or university student.
